RMAL Volunteer Training - We Need You!

Dear RMAL Swim Families,
Summer swim season is just around the corner, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible volunteers! Whether you’re an experienced official or brand new to the pool deck, there’s a place for you. Please consider signing up to train for one of the volunteer roles below — every position makes a difference for our swimmers.

MEET MAESTRO (Computer Operators) New for 2026, RMAL is using Meet Maestro — SwimTopia’s meet management software — to run all of our meets. This is a great opportunity to take on a meaningful behind-the-scenes role using a modern, intuitive app! Not sure what Meet Maestro is? - All Meet Maestro volunteers must view the online videos and review the RMAL documents.
- This is self-paced training
- In-person live help sessions are available below and are optional.

(*Volunteers should bring a laptop if possible)
STROKES & TURNS / STARTER / REFEREEOfficial roles are essential to running fair, safe meets. All Strokes & Turns, Starter, and Referee volunteers are required to attend one training session each year for their specific role. Sessions may include demonstrations, so come ready to learn!
